Anttila’s farm provides year-round hostel accommodation, pea pods and berries, farm presentations for groups and conference facilities in the immediate proximity of the centre of Kokemäki, the centre of which is only 1.5 kilometres away. The berry cultivation area is alongside the farm.

The farm cultivates

• white currants
• black currants
• gooseberries
• raspberries
• strawberries
• new potatoes
• asparagus
• juneberries

The farm additionally cultivates grain as an intermediate crop and sets aside parcels to obtain the growth rotation. To effectuate the rotation, growing parcels are exchanged with neighbouring farms. The acreage for cultivation was 70 hectares in 2009, of which the share allocated for horticultural products is 51 hectares.

Each year, hundreds of families and self-picking groups visit the farm to pick peas and berries for themselves. Our farm store sells ready picked products and is open from 9-20 and at other times, whenever we are at home. During the winter, we sell frozen berry products, soft drinks and juices.

In connection with the farm, domestic wild berries can be purchased either fresh or frozen from the farm store after the harvest season has passed.

During the harvesting season, the products of the farm are sold in shops and market squares throughout Satakunta, in Tampere and at fresh wholesale businesses in Helsinki, in addition to throughout Finland through wholesale. The products are marketed by Satakunnan Hernerengas Oy.

Anttila's farm is located about 35 minutes from Pori (44 km), from Helsinki, the driving time is approx. 2 hours and 20 minutes (200 km), from Turku, the driving time is approx. 1 hours 20 minutes (110 km) and from Tampere, approximately 1 hour 10 minutes (100 km).

From Anttila’s farm, the distance to Kokemäki bus station is about 1.5 kilometres, about 4,5 km from the Peipohja bus stop on the Pori-Helsinki road (Road 2), and the distance to Kokemäki railway station is about 4 kilometres. We can pick customers up from the bus and train stations, and at the Peipohja bus stop.
