Anttila's farm cultivates currants, gooseberries, and raspberries, in addition to strawberries for selling at the farm store. The currants and gooseberries ripen in late July. We sell most of the berries directly from the farm or families can pick fresh berries themselves. All of the garden berries are harvested by hand, to guarantee their high quality.
The surface area allocated to berries in the Anttila's farm is some 18 hectares, of which the proportion for gooseberries and currants is 5.0 hectares. Over recent years, the farm has invested particularly a great deal in the cultivation of red gooseberries.

In addition to the farm’s own berries, our company Satakunnan Hernerengas Oy supply hand-picked garden berries for retail and wholesale for the entire harvest season. We can also provide ready-frozen berries. The frozen products are picked-up during the autumn, at a time agreed with the customer.
We produce juices and soft drinks from garden berries, which we sell from our farm store and through shops in Satakunta. At the beginning of June, we are involved in representing Satakunta in the Senate square in Helsinki

Part of the garden berries were covered by a winter flood in December 2008.
The summer of 2009 will show how well the new shrubs have survived the flood.
